About Osteopathy
Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance both the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. They may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
The Practitioners
Kate and Chris are both registered osteopaths with their own unique specialisms. Kate specialises in Cranial osteopathy, pregnancy and children. Chris specialises in Structural osteopathy, sports injuries and exercise rehabilitation.

Structural Osteopathy
Chris specialises in hands-on physical therapy that focuses on your bones, muscles, and joints. He uses stretching, massage, and joint manipulation to fix body imbalances to help reduce pain, heal injuries, and improve how your body moves and works.

Cranial Osteopathy
Kate specialises inCranial osteopathy; a gentle yet effective form of osteopathic treatment that uses light touch to help the body relax, release tension and restore balance to the body.
By applying very small, precise adjustments—often around the head, spine and pelvis—they help the body release areas of strain and support its natural ability to heal.

Sports Injuries
As part of his treatment Chris combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with tailored exercises and practical advice to support recovery, improve strength, mobility, and help prevent recurring pain.

Maternity Clinic
Pregnancy places demands on the body due to hormonal, postural and circulatory changes.
Due to previous injuries or excessive demands elsewhere in life some women find that this adaptation is not as easy as it could be.
Kate uses a combination of gentle structural and cranial osteopathic techniques to help you through your pregnancy.

Treatment and Advice for Every Stage of Life
Movement is vitally important at every stage of life. Patients often wrongly assume that pain and stiffness are the inevitable result of ageing when this is often not the case. Chris’s hands-on treatment and exercise programmes will help keep you active and healthy at every stage of life.

Babies and Children's Clinic
Some babies experience physical tension following long labours, assisted deliveries or caesarean birth.
This may show up as feeding difficulties, unsettled behaviour, head preference or sleep disruption.
