Effective Treatment for a Variety of Conditions
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach to healthcare that focuses on restoring balance within the body. Treatment is tailored to the individual and can help with a wide range of concerns, from back and neck pain to postural strain, sports injuries, headaches, and the physical stresses of pregnancy and early parenthood.

Babies and Children's Clinic
Some babies experience physical tension following long labours, assisted deliveries or caesarean birth. This may show up as feeding difficulties, unsettled behaviour, head preference or sleep disruption.

Maternity Clinic
Pregnancy is a unique and demanding experience for every woman. Her body changes rapidly and must adapt to hormonal, postural and circulatory changes.
Due to previous injuries or excessive demands elsewhere in life some women find that this adaptation is not as easy as it could be.

Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial osteopathy is a very gentle form of osteopathic treatment that uses light touch to help the body relax, release tension and restore balance.
By applying very small, precise adjustments—often around the head, spine and pelvis—they help the body release areas of strain and support its natural ability to heal.

Sports Injuries
We also help with rehabilitation from injury, combining hands-on osteopathic treatment with tailored exercises and practical advice to support recovery, improve strength and mobility, and help prevent recurring pain.

Treatment and Advice for Every Stage of Life
Movement is vitally important at every stage of life. Older patients often assume that pain and limited mobility are the inevitable result of ageing when this is often not the case. Our hands-on treatment and exercise programmes will help keep you active and healthy as you get older.
At Stillpoint Clinic, you will be cared for by two experienced practitioners who bring complementary specialisms to our practice
Kate Balcomb-Johns DO M.Ost.
Kate offers specialist cranial osteopathy for newborn babies, infants, and mothers during pregnancy and post-partum. Using gentle, subtle techniques, she supports babies with feeding difficulties, unsettled behaviour, and birth-related strain, while also helping mothers adapt comfortably to the physical changes of pregnancy and recovery after birth.
Chris Hanson DO M.Ost.
Chris focuses on postural health, rehabilitation, and movement. He combines hands-on osteopathic treatment with tailored exercises and practical advice to support recovery from injury, improve strength and mobility, and help prevent recurring pain.
